After over a decade of healing from multiple “mystery” illnesses, I’ve concluded that the root of dis-ease in the body and mind is repressed emotional energy. As trite as it sounds, we must feel it to heal it.
There are many somatic, psychological, and neuroplasticity-based modalities I have practiced myself and with clients. After many years of exploration and training, I have landed on a combination of these. I find them to be the most comprehensive and powerful modalities for moving through stuck physical and emotional energy masquerading as illness in the body.
No session is the same. We enter an energetic container together and discover where it takes us.
what are these modalities?
Guided EMOTIONAL RELEASE is a transformative healing journey that invites you to explore the depths of your most suppressed and rejected emotions in a safe and supported environment.
In one-to-one sessions, this treatment combines verbal guidance, psychosomatic bodywork, and subconscious visualizations. This emotion-centric approach is adapted to the organic rhythm and pace of how fast or slow each person is ready to process their emotions.
Each session is unique and can involve anything from gentle, supportive touch to intense emotional expressions.
SPINAL ATTUNEMENT combines somatic hands-on bodywork with energetic field work. This practice supports clients to unlock the healing intelligence of the nervous system with the neurogenic spinal wave.
Spinal attunement utilizes Eastern and Western teachings focused on interaction with a person’s spine, nervous system, chakras, meridians and energetic bodies (often with and without touch). The modality serves to harness a person’s own innate wisdom and intuition to release stored emotions and trauma stored in the physical body.
Through awakening the body's natural spinal healing wave, deeper subconscious emotions stored in the body creating dis-ease can move. This movement and release creates space in the body, easing the ability to come home to oneself.
THERAPEUTIC TREMOR, or TRE®, is a powerful somatic modality to help us find a state of calm within our bodies
The psoas muscles are considered the fight-or-flight muscles of the human species. These primitive muscles found deep within our pelvic cavities, stand guard to protect us when we feel threatened (like when our ancestors were physically chased by tigers). Learning to activate these muscles by evoking a shake (as they’re meant to be evoked after a traumatic episode), leads to a tremor that reverberates throughout the body, naturally dissolving deep chronic physical and emotional tension along the way.
The active BREATHING MEDITATION I facilitate supports the expression and release of emotional energy within the body and nervous system. The practice deepens the connection to our physical bodies and the capacity to find self-love and expansion.

IS EVERY SOMA SESSION THE SAME?
The short answer is that every session is unique. The structure of our time together varies and is fluid, though the tools I use to facilitate your process come from guided Emotional Release, TRE, Spinal Attunement, breathwork, and the science of neuroplasticity. My facilitation is intuitively guided by each client’s response. The body has in innate knowing of what needs to be released at that time in your life.
I’M NERVOUS. WHAT IF I EXPERIENCE PAIN OR DISCOMFORT?
Some sort of pain is likely what brought you here. As we learn to get curious with our discomfort, and ease into acceptance in lieu of resistance, we are able to make our way through and to the other side. No matter how the session unfolds, I guide you through gently arriving back at the end of the session so that you can gracefully transition into your day.
DO YOU OFFER VIRTUAL SESSIONS?
I do offer virtual sessions via Zoom. I offer live private sessions for those who live in the Sarasota/Tampa area. To inquire about a virtual or in-person session please contact me.
WHAT IS THE EXCHANGE?
Our first session together is $140. After that, a package of 3 sessions can be purchased for $380 or individual sessions can continue as needed for $140.
HOW LONG DO THE SESSIONS LAST?
Our initial session is generally about an hour, but can certainly go longer. Subsequent sessions can last anywhere from thirty minutes to over an hour. Time is a Western construct. More is not always better as the body often welcomes space to integrate. Please allow up to 90 minutes for any session.
