breathwork
The first time I tried this form of breathwork I knew I had stumbled upon something really powerful. The second time I tried it I saw angels.
Breathwork is a loaded term nowadays. I really wish there was a unique word for the active technique that I’ve practiced for the past few years and now guide others to experience. Given my propensity toward anxiety and hypervigilance, I was taught to use the breath to help me regulate my nervous system for well over a decade. Deep, alternating nostril, box, diaphragmatic, belly, Ujjayi, breath of fire, lion’s breath… you name it, I’ve probably tried it. While they all seemed to have something valuable to offer, nothing brings me home to my physical, emotional, and spiritual bodies the way this active breathwork technique does.
Guidance was key for me at first, and when I have the opportunity to be held in a loving container while going through the deep process, I always get more from the experience. Years of frustrating daily meditation—during which I either fell asleep or spent the time attempting to beat my mind into submission—has finally been replaced by the most peaceful and loving journey of coming home to myself. Each encounter with my inner wisdom is unique. Each chapter is different. The passages are all coming together as the story of my life magically unfolds, guided by this newfound connection to my soul.
Your 75-minute guided session will include:
• sharing what’s on your heart (and mind)
• setting an intention for the session
• a few instructions and your questions
• guided active breath
• my support during the practice
• integration at the end
The best way to understand this magical modality is to experience it. ♥️

IS EVERY SESSION THE SAME?
The short answer is that every session is unique. Though the structure is generally the same, each person’s experience is vastly different and my guidance varies based on each client’s response. Breathwork always gives you what you need at that time in your life.
I’M NERVOUS. WHAT IF I EXPERIENCE PAIN OR DISCOMFORT?
You control the experience by slowing or quickening the breath pattern. This is your practice and I encourage you to listen to your body during the process. This active breathwork technique naturally brings a sense of calm to your mind and a soft focus on your body. It is easier to get curious with any discomfort when engaging the focused breath and being mindful of your intention. I guide you through a grounding, calming breath at the end of the session so that you can gracefully transition into your day.
DO YOU OFFER VIRTUAL SESSIONS?
I do offer virtual sessions via Zoom. I offer live private and group sessions for those who live in the Sarasota/Tampa area. To inquire about a virtual or in-person session please contact me.
CAN I DO BREATHWORK ON MY OWN?
Guidance and support is important at first, as this can be a cathartic emotional experience. Being held in a loving container while going through the deep process is recommended to help navigate the emotional energy, intuitive messages, physical sensations, and stored/released trauma that are quite common.
